I am sure that David expects me to react to this one.

 I don't know exactly what is in the RadCom Editor's in-tray, but I do know 
there is a large backlog of articles. I will check tomorrow (he is out today at 
the printers) to see what he has on LF. The magazine recently ran an article 
on the Puckeridge experiments.

I have ensured that every news-worthy LF story has been covered on the 
GB2RS news bulletin, and there have been several of these this year.

As for the HF Convention, the detailed information (see 
http://www.rsgb.org/hfc2001/programme.htm) shows the two LF lectures under 
"Technology".
The full lecture programme, still under preparation, shows the details as  
follows:
Stream C Saturday
0930 LF Propagation and some effects of Solar Disturbances: Alan Melia, 
G3NYK.
1045 The 136kHz Transatlantic QSOs: Peter Dodd, G3LDO et al
1200 LF Forum: Chairman John Gould, G3WKL
(Stream C continues with two lectures that may be of interest to the 
experimenters on this reflector)
1500 Digital Voice at HF, and Related Techniques: Andy Talbot, G4JNT
1615 HF Datamodes via the Soundcard: Phil Cooper, GU0SUP

Admittedly, the main Convention page fails to mention the LF Village that will 
(presumably) be the meeting point for all lowfers on both Saturday and 
Sunday. I will try to get that fixed.

Lastly, some of you may be aware that there are behind the scenes activities 
by the RSGB to obtain another band in the LF/MF region.

The ARRL cover is the first one that has ever featured LF. The 73kHz band 
made the cover of RadCom when the first permits were issued.

In the meantime, please bombard the RadCom editor with LF technical articles 
- the texts of the HF Convention lectures are obvious candidates. I will do what 
I can to get them published, though I won't be the editor's boss for much 
longer.
