At a first glance it seems that I can still read slow CW when this is not possible on the old version (4.2.6.5)! I'm using the same settings (for 3sec dots): 5k5/16bit/Mono, 30dB, 200ms, 16384 points, 360-446 Hz Band, 4-8 times spec average, no color mods. For 10s dots I would just set the time to 600-800ms. The signal comes from the Harris RF599 (BFO -400Hz, BW 250Hz -6dB, 5ms AGC, line out), passes the Timewave DSP599zx (400Hz center, BW 80Hz -3dB, AGC on, noise reduction on, line out) into a Dell Laptop 300MHz P-II with 64MRAM. 73 de Toni PS. Version 5.0 did not work properly with my setup. wireless schrieb: > > No one came back on my Spectrogram comment yesterday - does anyone use 5.08 > and what settings have you found best for 10 sec dots? > > 73 > John Taylor G0AKN > earth@wireless.freeserve.co.uk
