Have seen that the Kp Index is up to "storm" on maj.com I think as it's currently 5 that my chances of making it over the pond tonight (Sunday)are rather slim. So will save the electricity and get some sleep. Managed to get 125 metres of wire in the air and have a reasonable 2.5 Amps of antenna current on 72kHz with about 300W output power. 136 is better and have 3.7Amps with about 600W. Worked Dave GM3YXM earlier CW/QRSS but still finding and curing local noise sources. Thanks Ian MI0AYZ for a new country for me on 71.8k Sri Mike G3XDV. Received at level 'T' but not out of my noise enough to resolve calls. (Vy nice signal from you on the Birmingham remote receive though www.wireless.org.uk\grab) Hope to find Peter Laurie and Derek later on 71.905. 136k strangly quiet this morning. 73 David GM0MRF 07958 402550 or LL 01290 700008 (9-9)
