Last friday I took advantage of the fact that CFH was transmitting a steady
carrier to record the signal using the eclipse software of ON5OO.
The recordings of Alan and me overlap from 00 to 07 UTC (saturday morning)
and I put them both in one picture. The result is very strange, despite the
fact that our locations are only 266km separated the recordings are very
different.

If CFH remains on carrier for the next days it might be interesting to have
a 'CFH recording night' where we try to get CFH recordings from a number of
different locations at the same time.
Using the eclipse software anyone with a PC & soundcard can make a
recording when CFH is transmitting a carrier.
What about this idea, who wants to join the experiment ?
