Hi Mal I dont see anyone ridiculing this reflector....it has been a vital 
resource for years. Some wanted more facilities, and we can't, it seems, 
provide the same service these days here. If it dies there may be no-one to 
press the red button :-))  It would seem to be losing mail, or it has 
perhaps generated a blacklisting on some routes/nodes because messages dont 
always seem to get through to non-UK users. We do not have control of the 
hardware, it is not run on RSGB servers. It's a bit like the old marine 
Class C valve rigs......they still work but are not as efficient as modern 
kit. :-))

Those of us interested in following activity for propagation information 
still need to receive both, and of course reply on the "senders channel" 
:-))
