Minor drawback is that the new version of QRS won't run under Win3 any longer. While adapting the code for WinNT I made some more changes, see end of this mail. The new test version of QRS can be downloaded from : http://www.qsl.net/on7yd/zip/qrs401.zip I would appreciate it if some could try the test version and report any bugs. 73, Rik ON7YD ***** Changes from version 3.17 to 4.01 (April 2003) ***** 1. Win3 compatibility abandonded, this was required to achieve full parallel port support under Win2000, WinNt, WinXp etc. 2. Parallel port (LPT1 or LPT2) now supported in all Windows versions from Win95 upward 3. "Countdown" added : transmission will end in xxhyy'zz" (suggested by RU6LA) 4. All 10 messages (as stored under "text") can be selected from within the QSO window (suggested by RU6LA) 5. In QSO mode the dotlength can be changed during transmission, this can allow you to respond fast to propagation changes. Any changes becomes effective from the next character 6. Some minor cosmetics
