Dear LF Group,

Transmitted beacon signals from 2315 until 0420 last night; I
QSY'd slightly to 135.9233 because my usual frequency was
already in use when I started. Due to popular demand, some time
after midnight, I changed from the 5 dashes pattern I have been
sending to something which should resemble my callsign - it is
actually an improvisation obtained by putting together the
appropriate number of 30s dashes and 10s spaces; when viewed
in a narrow resolution, these merged together reasonably well into
long dots and dashes, and took about 1hour 20mins to send the
complete call. Does anybody know of a keyer program available for
longer dot lengths ?

I monitored VA3LK's frequency, but have just received an E-mail
from Larry saying he would not be transmitting from Thursday
onwards - which probably explains why I didn't receive anything!
Larry also confirms receiving my beacon signal around midnight on
Tuesday night.

My E-mail account does not appear to be working properly still,
although I have received a few much delayed messages this
morning. My apologies if anyone is expecting a reply from me -
please try again.

Cheers, Jim Moritz
