Hello Gary,

I am a bit fuzzed why the CQ call in CW had to be 200Hz from the =20
frequency you and Gary were on. There was plenty of free space up and =20
down the band.
A bit later the CW caller got a reply, but could hardly copy that =20
station. Although both stations were solid copy here, despite the =20
strong RTTY signals.
I ended up "multitasking": reading the CW signals by ear and at the =20
same time reading the RTTY on the screen ...

Today I picked up a SAIT MT430B marine TX. I haven't tested it yet but =20
if it is still operational it could be converted into a good linear =20
400W TX for 500kHz.
