Jim,

the transverter is in the prototype / breadboard stage.
It is original in the way that it is my own design, but it is just a =20
classic transverter:
- Kenwood TS440 on 4.5MHz (in fact 4.5024MHz USB for WSPR) at minimum =20
power (abt. 1 Watt)
- 30dB attenuator (1W to 1mW)
- DBM (SBL-1) fed with a 4MHz xtal osc as downmixer to 500kHz (502.4kHz)
- single transistor (BC550c) post amp, about 10mW out at 50 Ohm
- 5 pole LPF
- PA 10mW to 50W
- 7 pole LPF
- antenna

I will be transmitting WSPR tonight (11-11) if WX stays dry.
