Hello Ian, LF, I think the "T T T CQ CQ " that I vaguely heard, several months ago, may have been someone mucking about, much as I'd wish it was a genuine coast station still in operation and therefore a DX catch. The 500.5 "V V V TEST " is certainly someone "mucking about"! My question is "who, where and why?" I heard it again tonight, easily readable by ear. Since SK6RUD and this mystery on 500.5 have appeared I've increases the coverage of my grabber, to cover 500 - perhaps I'll catch another instance of the phantom "T T T CQ" signal as winter approaches.
