What is the relation with 137 or 500 kHz 2. What is so exceptional? During the Es season anything within a range of 2000-2500km can be worked almost daily on 6m. Even multihop Es opening into North-America and the Caribian occur regulary. In May 1994 I worked VK4 via propagation that was most likely multi-hop Es, running 30W into a small 5 el. Yagi and (oh shame on me ...) in SSB. 73, Rik ON7YD Disclaimer: http://www.kuleuven.be/cwis/email_disclaimer.htm
