As far as I am aware the transmitter performed OK. When I went to receive I did see and hear a very things happening but was unable to make anything of it. It was a strong signal. I noticed that the frost an the loading coil plastic rain cover melted in the region of the windings only. The temperature in the shack was -3.5 degrees C Downloaded Argo Beta and ran it from 0001 onward. I can see a lot more Loran lines than with Spectran. I can also see VE1ZZ better and although 'O' for only part of the time I can always tell when he is transmitting - so that I know when to transmit. Conditions have to be better for a 1w erp QSO. Jack 'M' here at 0100, but now off to bed -- Regards, Peter, G3LDO
