OK, thanks Stefan.

Last night the antenna was an east/west earth dipole, slightly shorter 
than the one I received your 8.9 KHz balloon TX several years ago.
Tonight I'm running 2 receivers, one with the earth dipole and the other 
with a PA0RDT at 140 uHz.
