Thanks to Eddie (Northampton), Roger (nr Cambridge) and Paul (Todmorden)=
 for the reports and screen shots.

The kite is still aloft despite nearly snagging a nearby tree several time=
s.
The wind is gusting and changing direction quite rapidly which is causing=
 big fluctuations in aerial current. The max current is about 0.25A min ab=
out 0.15A

I estimate the aerial height as being between 40 - 50m (occasionally down=
 to 15m!) with 70m of total wire run out.

Provided the wind doesn't shift too far to the East (where there's danger=
 of snagging house TV aerials) and the kite doesn't break free I'll leave=
 the set up as it is.

    Now on DFCW600 4.5mHz where Chris is showing 10dB above the noise
    floor. The best signal yet.

    N.B There is a frequency step in the display, it is not Chris
    sending DFCW it is my end.
