Itis a g= ood indication of propagation conditions as was the stimulus for the first = TA attempts on 137kHz.=0AThe station is transmitting at about 40kW ERP from= a new but barely used Harris TX the modulation is most likely GMSK and it = is capable of multichannel independent sideband operaton. It generally is u= sed for submarine comms., but has been very quiet in recent years. =0A=0AAl= an G3NYK=0A=0A=0A--- On Sun, 26/2/12, Rob, M0DTS wrote:= =0A=0A> From: Rob, M0DTS =0A> Subject: LF: Broad signal (n= oise?) on 137.000KHz=0A> To: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org=0A> Date: Sunday,= 26 February, 2012, 22:09=0A> Hi All,=0A> I'm getting a broad signal at 137= KHz on evenings with=0A> gradual increase in strength as the evening goes o= n plus=0A> some qsb.=0A> It seems to be very stable centered on 137.000 and= is 300Hz=0A> wide, see the screen grab below.=0A> =0A> The same signal is = received about 17km away too by another=0A> station at similar strength so = wondered if anyone else hears=0A> it?=0A> =0A> http://www.m0dts.co.uk/files= /capt1202262156.jpg=0A> =0A> =0A> Rob=0A> M0DTS=0A> =0A>
