In that case yes - it is very good. Lightweight and has good strength. Needs
replacement from time to time depending on air pollution levels as the coppe=
r
layer is fairly thin. When/if the steel core is exposed to the elements it w=
ill
break within a short time. Be careful when stripping off the plastic insulat=
ion
or leave it on if you can manage the extra weight for very long lifetime.

In Finland it is hard to buy these days but scrap rolls can be had for almos=

free from the local telephone workshop. A bag of coffee-bread can do wonders=
 on
a Friday afternoon ;-)

Can you simly ask for scrap wire from a decommissioned line?
