Conditions have been pretty good lately. I'm aware of the drift. The dds synthesizer that I built uses a reference oscillator that is not temperature compensated. When I'm down in the basement radio shack/workshop I turn up the heat and the frequency drifts downward. When I'm done for the night I turn the heat back down and the frequency will drift upward. Sometimes I will 'manually correct' the frequency so I don't run into XES (1/2 Hz or less lower). Perhaps I could publish a chart on my web site that shows the temperature in the shack as a function of XGJ frequency :-) -- 73 Warren K2ORS/WD2XGJ FN42hi http://www.w4dex.com/wd2xgj.htm > Hi All, > > I seem to have recorded a slight shift in frequency on Warrens XGJ signal, > it occurred about 0045z (27/10/05) & moved back at about 0345z, the other > signals (XKO, NA & Loran lines) show no shift.
