Brian CT1DRP is located favourably on the Portugese Atlantic coast, and his signal has made it across the pond to the U.S. and Canada regularly. I am sure he will be interested if you could post one of your captures. On the other hand, I have not been able to transmit this weekend. Also, I'm well inland, and I'd expect that transatlantic copy of my low ERP signal is only possible on rare occasions. Copying DFCW is not any more difficult than QRSS. All you need to do is select a reasonable FFT bin bandwidth (e.g. 84 mHz for 10 second, or 10 mHz for 60 second symbol duration) and scroll speed, and look out for Morse dashes / dots on the higher / lower RF frequency. Good luck Markus, DF6NM ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andy - KU4XR" To: Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2008 6:06 PM Subject: Re: LF: CT1DRP daytime? > the lower carrier seems to be visible again on the Eu grabber, > about 20 dB weaker. > > Good day Markus;-- That comment gives me the opportunity to tell > what I was seeing on your frequency last night.
