I'm only using an earth loop electrode antenna of about 10m between spike/mat so not very efficient but it looks nice to the Tx so I get a decent aerial current flowing, though if only to "warm the sod" It's noisy here too, I've got S9 on 500 and that's blocking my WSPR RX of Roger and this morning even the venerable XIZ was struggling to Rx his reg skeds.
