( I know they work better if put up under adverse conditions. But we didn't. ) The beacon on 136.7446Khz is up and running with a 60 sec dot time. We plan on changing it to 90 sec dot time this weekend. I will talk to W4RI about the ARRL web page. I think the message I sent not confirming reception was missed. Keep trying, Andre' still has some QSL cards left. I hope to be on again tonight. Thanks to WB5MMB for the info on the AMRAD beacon, and also to W4DEX for the news stories. Interesting to see that the beacon has been reported by G4CNN - however, now I am a little confused - are there 2 beacons? I seem to remember there were, but that one was not operating. Clearly, the one on John's screen shot reported in the ARRL news is a different signal and frequency to the 136.7446kHz one described by Sandy. Cheers, Jim Moritz 73 de M0BMU
