Hi All at LF,

There has been mention in the past on the LF group of LF & MF
operators using Icom IC706 as a transverter driver due to its
frequency stability, how many of you out there use the IC706
this way & is the receive capability good on 136 & 500 KHz ??

I am considering selling my JRC NRD-345 receiver & moving on
to a linear system for LF & MF employing a transverter driven
from a HF transciever like the IC706.

Any comments, ideas & circuits etc on this subject will be much
appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.
