Unfortunately the English vers= ion needs a clean up but it is understandable. Unfortunately there is not= a lot of detail about the use and equiment installed. I think this is not an "earth antenna" but is a mountain supported "T"= , though is seems to have quite a slope. Similar antennas were used at Criggion GBZ (which was built a a standby for GBR Rugby but now closed= and disassembled) and Jim Creek (NLK, and still transmitting on 24.6 kHz= I think)) for VLF transmissions. Jim Creek was used for Omega transmiss= ions up to about 1990 and has been well written up in the "Lowdown" journal/newsletterl of the Long Wave Club of America. Articles on Crig= gion (Practical Wireless) and Jim Creek describe massive concrete anchors= points on the mountain peaks for the support wires. It is about a "earth" antenna like we have it in principle and it shows that it can indeed compete with a traditional= marconi antenna. Maybe you know that since 10s of years but for me it was new: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herzogstand_Radio_Station or in german http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funkstation_am_Herzogstand (more detailed= and with a picture of the antenna construction) 73, Stefan/DK7FC
