Next question who was the person or persons that recommended this part of the MF spectrum for radio amateur use ?? Was there a survey to study the feasability of this allocation. I have not looked at this frequency area before in any detail but it does look suspect especially after dark to be of any use. Maybe the RSGB and others would like to comment de mal/g3kev ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tracey Gardner" To: Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2012 5:44 PM Subject: Re: LF: Re: WRC-12 Approves the New 472-479 kHz Amateur Radio Allocation > Hello Mal > > I've just done a count and 11 of the 29 have been heard in the UK. > SA on 474.5khz and BIA on 474kHz, both from Poland are regular daytime > signals with me. > > 73s Tracey > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "mal hamilton" > To: > Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2012 5:35 PM > Subject: Re: LF: Re: WRC-12 Approves the New 472-479 kHz Amateur Radio > Allocation > > > > Tracy > > How many has anyone heard in the UK.
