Recent comments about earth spikes etc.
I am using 2 elevated 1/4 wave insulated radials about 7 feet above ground o=
n my 1/4 wave 500 Khz inv L, height just over 100 ft vertical.
A groundplane system and no direct connection to Earth/ground.
Getting a nice 1:1 swr and stable, virtually no variation regardless of WX
