Peter Martinez, G3PLX, wrote an excellent article about doppler shift and the ionosphere, illustrated with dopplergrams in RadCom, May 1998, page 16. Many other studies seem to draw on his material and I found that a Google search for "G3PLX doppler" yielded many interesting links to material about doppler shifts in the ionosphere. This one looked quite relavent to what you were looking at. http://www.oregon-hw-sw.com/SIMULR/ 73 Hugh M0WYE ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rik Strobbe" To: Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2003 9:30 AM Subject: LF: Doppler shift > Hello group, > > The question is a bit off topic, so longwave-only readers can push the > delete button now. > > A friend of mine is interested in QRSS tests on 10.1MHz (30 meter) and one > of the things we are discussing is the longest useable dotlength is on that > frequency.
