Any recommendations on hardware and software for DX reception at 5kHz-20kHz?

I have good antennas and preamps (< 1uV/m/root-Hz, < 1fT/root-Hz), USB audio
interfaces (> 110dB DR, 192ksps), spare laptops and PCs, and a good location
(Sonoran desert, cultural noise below natural noise) but no software
suitable for amateur radio RX. 

I have seen references to Spectrum Lab; would this be a good starting point?
