A variometer although convenient is not the best way to resonate a LF/=
MF antenna, instead use a coil in series with the antenna wire with th=
e bottom end grounded. Tap the antenna wire down the coil for resonanc=
e/lowest swr, then tap the coax feed cable to the antenna up a few tur=
ns on the coil from ground for the perfect match, coax braid to earth=
 at bottom of coil.=20
then hit the morse key and work some DX
