On front of the receiver i use a bandpass filter ( Cheb. .2 dB ripple, 11 KHz BW , 7 poles) to reject part of "QRM", the mixer is a SRA8 from MCL, the LO is a 5 MHz OCXO and some MMIC in buffer. The IF is a FT847 with 300 Hz Xtal filter. My main problem is that the loop antenna is ~120m (~390') from the station and i pick up some crazy thing by the braid of the coax cable... The new preamplifier (two match U430 Siliconix) and CV tune system is not finish at this present time. Give me some time, i am a novice, just escaped from VHF!
