that is my favourite blog (it is my source for inspiration, i check it=

day and iam big fan of him - even that i never got in contact with him=

dont know him in person)

I have a "kind" of interest in LF and i say "kind" because my only wor=
k on=20
LF was an upconverter i constracted many years ago with an SA602 to re=
ceive=20
SAQ on 10MHz... thats all.

I have restrictions in space on my main QTH in Athens something that=
 makes=20
my operation difficult on wavelegths 80m and below... BTW the work i=
 see=20
from you, G3XBM (on 500khz), M0BMU and others make me to cheer up and=
 dream=20
that maybe i can do at least "something" on VLF/LF. After the last pos=
t of=20
G3XBM about your last activation on 9khz..I subscribded to the reflect=

receive more info about what you did and what was the longest dx.

My locator is KM17UW and i think that our distance from your portable=
=20
location must be something close to 1750kms

Until now Iam reading about E-field and H-field antennas and Iam plann=
ing to=20
build one probe and one loop... from all the things I found I think fo=
r (9=20
khz) the most interesting H-field antenna is the loop with the 9khz ba=
ndpass=20
of M0BMU and the E-field is the ADA, AN ACTIVE DIFFERENTIAL ANTENNA FO=
R=20
5Hz - 500 Khz By I1RFQ where i've done already the calculations in ord=
er to=20
build an e-field dipole for VLF only  freq. 3+ Khz.

So I plan and hope to construct soon these two antennas for 9KHz recep=
tion.=20
After that my next step is to make a loop for 136KHz based on papers=
 of=20
M0BMU and try receive LF signals on 136khz. In greece we have a strong=
 QRM=20
source very close to LF band that  belongs to the Greek Navy (RTTY)...=

sure all of you who are active on this band know what iam talking abou=

this QRM makes difficult for me be active since it is not more than 10=
0km=20
far from  me...

So at first I will try to become an LF SWL..

About the 9KHz the greek laws leave open the activities below 9khz wit=

only point to not produce QRM to the services above 9khz... this gives=
 me an=20
oportunity to make some experiments on this frequency using narrowband=
=20
techniques with low power and "ground antennas" on the transmitter=20
side...like G3XBM

All these things are in my "wish" list.. and I must do actions instead=
 of=20
wishes. So I'll start to build RX antennas for 9KHz and i'll see what=
 will=20
come next

It would be nice to have a QSO with you but i think on these frequenci=
es the=20
only option would be cross band.. me on HF and you on LF

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION: YES MY WISH IS TO START RECEIVING LF/VLF AND=
 GET=20
YOUR SIGNALS AND I WILL TRY TO MAKE IT REALITY
