I am really glad to see my signal appearing so well. Equipement was as follows: X-tal controlled oscillator + divider, and TX like the design of G0MRF = with an TC4426. The final stage (class D) consists of 2 IRF 730 FET's from my junkbox. Drainvoltage 32V (at key down), drain current between 4 and 5.0 amp, so = around 150Watt DC input at maximum. Antenna: 6m vertical wire, with 7m horizontal topload (4 wires, spaced = 50cm, in parallel) in my backgarden...... I'm planning to improve the TX and powrsupply a bit, in such a way that = the beacon should run at 200-250Watt DC input for hours and hours and hours........... Maybe I should go up a little bit in frequency?? 73 Dick, PA4VHF ------=_NextPart_000_0026_01C73128.579FECE0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2800.1555" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hello everybody,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Thank you all for the reports here on = the=20 reflector.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I am really glad to see my signal = appearing so=20 well.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Equipement was as follows:</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>X-tal controlled oscillator + divider, = and TX like=20 the design of G0MRF with an TC4426.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>The final stage (class D) consists of 2 = IRF 730=20 FET's from my junkbox.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Drainvoltage 32V (at key down), drain = current=20 between 4 and 5.0 amp, so around 150Watt <EM>DC input</EM> at=20 maximum.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Antenna: 6m vertical wire, with 7m = horizontal=20 topload (4 wires, spaced 50cm, in parallel) in my = backgarden......</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I'm planning to improve the TX and = powrsupply a=20 bit, in such a way that the beacon should run at 200-250Watt DC=20 input</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>for hours and hours and=20 hours...........</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Maybe I should go up a little bit in=20 frequency??</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>73</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Dick, PA4VHF</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV></BODY></HTML> ------=_NextPart_000_0026_01C73128.579FECE0--
