I have been looking at the 501 to 505 slot and I notice that the 50Hz sideband from the TV Line TB just start to encroach on the bottom end of the band here. I dont see anything much else but I have an aerial problem here at present (and its raining!) This all suggest the upper end of the band might be better. However 501550 Hz is clear of the noise at present (which is worst from my own set.....of course I can control that, others might not be so lucky!) Cheers de Alan G3NYK ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave G3WCB To: Sent: 27 February 2007 20:58 Subject: LF: RE: 501 to 504 Gosh, that was quick! Congratulations....I'd better hurry up and finish my RX pre-amp. Should have something lashed up by the week-end. I've checked my junk box, and I've got TX crystals for 501.55 and 503.25 kHz, so I'd be happy for QRSS/DFCW to be on either of those frequencies..but that's my own selfish opinion! On 136 kHz I found I could paint a reasonable trace on your QRSS 60 grabber with as little as 100 milliwatts TX power, so your 5W output should be easily enough to work around the UK on QRSS. What sort of ERP do you expect for 5W RF? 73, Dave G3WCB IO91RM -----Original Message----- From: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org [mailto:owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org]On Behalf Of Dave Pick Sent: 27 February 2007 15:45 To: LF Group Subject: LF: 501 to 504 Well the NOV came this morning so I've been busy building a PA... to generate 5 Watts!!
