Both are excellent performers at LF. The AR7030 has top notch rf performance but the ergonomics of the AR7030 are= a bit unusual. The R75 is very easy to drive and has a 1 Hz frequency reado= ut. The perfect receiver should be an AR7030 with a R75 front panel. The R75 is the receiver of choice for many NDB chasers. The AR7030 is still available new. The R75 is not available in Europe, due t= o ROHS restrictions. They are quiet cheap in the USA, due to the good (for u= s) dollar exchange rate.
