Not sure of your QTH Roger and you don't appear in qrz.com. A locator=20 would be useful so I can work out the distance between you and=20 Bracknell (IO91PJ). I am not really that convinced that there is a daytime cliff edge=20 effect on 500kHz. I can certainly copy quite a few stations at=20 considerable distance and consistently. 'HXO is still easy copy up=20 the band though somewhat weaker than earlier.
