Transmitter power is actually 400 watts but that is not a choice in the pull down box. Wasn't aware it supposed to be ERP. When the program originally came out a couple of us on 137 and 500 were using transmitter power so I've just continued that. ERP here would be about 40 watts. If you're interested, info on the linear amplifier in use can be found at http://www.w1vd.com/9505MF.html . For non linear modes I use a combined pair of Class D amplifiers at 1 kW. Info on that amp can be found at http://www.w1vd.com/137-500KWTX.html . Yes...500 kHz is quite a roller coaster as far as QSB is concerned - both on the long and short haul.
