Dear Colin, LF Group,

1150utc - Just had a QSO with G3VTT/P (along with G3UNT) - now a very =
good 599 signal here after a slightly wobbly start!. Colin reports QRM =
from broadcast stations, but still was able to give me a 579 Report. =
Would love to know what is holding the kite up...

to try portable 502 Khz. I am not hopeful that there will be enough wind =
for the kite but intend to hike the 3 miles with Geoff G3YVF and his =
'IRF510' tcvr anyway.

  Ofcom have been informed so that if one of the 'roving Ofcom =
inspection teams' turn up we can greet them in the traditional manner. =
Our location is Egypt Bay North Kent if anybody wants to join us!

  If any of you are still active on the band please keep an ear cocked, =
certainly at midday, wind permitting.
