It seems that 'factor' still means the same these days, at least according to a Web dictionary which gives Factor as 'One of two or more quantities that divide a given quantity without remainder'. So 4 and 6 also qualify. It is a pity that the people back in history who were responsible for the decimal system did not have twelve fingers. Then we would have the superior scale of 12 for mathematics as well as for weights and measures. There is nothing magic about 10. It is just that we were all brainwashed to think so! 73 Bernard G3SMW
