My loop antenna is E/W and if its located West from me I suppose it will be fairly strong, whereas at Rugby south from me it was in my loop null, more or less. I have not carried out any exact measurements, since it did not bother me in the past. MalG3KEV ----- Original Message ----- From: "John RABSON" To: Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2007 4:51 PM Subject: LF: Re: loran Thank you everyone for your observations. Quoting from my article on eLORAN in CREGJ issue 67 (and referring in particular to 87-90kHz): "Assuming the Anthorn station has the same ERP as Rugby, rough calculations suggest that the interference level in the North Yorkshire area would increase by about 4dB, the level in the Peak District would decrease by the same amount, and the level in the Swansea Valley would decrease by about 5dB. How far these changes will be noticeable will depend of course on the strength of other LORAN transmission." Can anybody (Mal?) tie up their observations with these estimates, please? 73 John F5VLF/G3PAI *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 22/10/2007 at 20:06 Dave G3WCB wrote: >Dear Gary, LF, > >Thanks for the report and screenshot.
