You seem to be out of touch with reality, its all about achieving and especially DX. At present a UK station is trying to get a signal into Singapore on 136 khz and what about all the efforts at Quartz Hill trying to get signals into the West coast USA and Canada and Europe/UK in recent months. I wish I could get a signal into Vancouver that could hardly be considered a narrow outlook !!!!!!! Tell the ARRL their DXing policy and DXpeditions and all their awards are a narrow outlook approach and see what response you get. Think of all the planning efforts and engineering with antennas and equipment and sheer hard work it takes to achieve these results. Put your thinking cap on and BROADEN your OUTLOOK and work some DX G3KEV ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve McDonald" To: Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2007 6:12 PM Subject: LF: Re: LF AND MF EXPERTS > > virtually impossibe to achieve any outstanding long > > haul contacts. > > A very narrow outlook in my opinion.
