This band is not as popular here as it was and still is in the UK. The reason is no doubt that only in 1962 we got a small segment, 1825 - 1835kHz, with a maximum allowed power of 10 W. I found out that in the UK before World War II the band available to amateurs was 1715 - 2000kHz. In 1953 this was changed to 1800 - 2000 kHz. My questions are: 1. Were there any power restrictions in the past and present? 2. Is the band still 1800 - 2000kHz? Any additional info of interest is also appreciated.
