I built a YXM type with some mods some years ago and it is still going strong and no blown fets. I use 4 x 75N10 devices ie each one 75 amps at 100 volts. I use about 16 volts and they run just warm. Its the same story with the old Decca Jeep, by the time you modify it by rewinding coils and constructing the relay switching etc you could build a custom tx at about the same power out in far less time. gl de Mal/G3KEV > > >
