With summer approaching of course this is to be expected. I frequently listen around 0530z when CFH is sometimes there at 579 like this morning, other times very weak. It might be worthwhile monitoring this station during the early hours up to this time, as there does seem significant variation from day to day. Note that CFH was consistently 59+10dB at dawn here during the winter season. The chance of a transatlantic (or transpacific) amateur QSO during this season would therefore appear very low, especially with the noticeable increase in static in recent days. Roll on November!
