LF Forum, well this is it, this is where it all happens ...
world-wide....but there also is the LWCA Message Board and their LowFer
reflector. There is also a VLF reflector (I think that is run by the NASA
INSPIRE project people)  that is more in tune with natural radio, whistlers
and such....below 22kHz generally.

You wont find a lot of technical chat on here as a lot of the early band
users have moved on, and we have not had many newcommers recently.Most of
the tech chat has been refering to 500kHz, some of which is pertinent to
136k. 500k is also very much easier than 136k (about 10 times...the square
of the frequency ratio) just as 136 was easier than 73k (the factor about 4
here). Dont let the quietness put you off, ask a question and you are bound
to get answers,  LFers are a very sociable lot. I think Peter Dodd has an
archive of selected reflector technical e-mails on his web site. Many of
these sites are linked through Dave G3YXMs web site http://wireless.org.uk/

Yes qsl.net is slow these days but it is a freebie so they cant afford the
bandwidth I guess.  Many like Alberto of ARGO fame have mirrored their
sites, but then you have to put up with pop-ups and ads.  I think I have an
image of Rik's site if you find you are getting nowhere, but I am not sure
its is fully up-to-date.

The 706 is well known to be deaf at LF. With a small aerial you need a
preamp like the kit Dave G0MRF does. When Peter G3LDO was in Morroco he
needed two of them !! They have a tight filter as well.
