Hi Mike, yes that is interesting, the longer path to CFH
www.alan.melia.btinternet.co.uk/latest.htm  shows the beginings of a peak at
0300z but was cut up by a deep fade in the middle. But the best steady
signals was later from 0530 to 0800 but about 6dB lower than the peak would
have been. Conditions were not too bad but are still likely to get worse yet
I believe. (Kp=5 this morning) Last year (well 2003) I found Joe seemed to
make the trip almost regardless of conditions, I dont think he is quite as
strong this last 12 months.
